Третий сингл британской певицы Мелани Си (Мелани Чисхолм) с её дебютного сольного альбома «Northern Star». Песня была записана с Лизой «Лефт Ай» Лопес из американской R&B-группы TLC.
Сингл был выпущен 20 марта 2000 года. Он дебютировал на 1-м месте в хит-параде Великобритании, отодвинув на 4-ю строчку бывшую коллегу Чисхолм по группе Spice Girls Джери Холлиуэлл с синглом «Bag It Up». «Never Be the Same Again» стал первым синглом Мелани Си, достигшим вершины британского хит-парада. Сингл был распродан тиражом в 401800 копий в одной только Великобритании, что позволило ему занять 18-е место в списке самых продаваемых британских синглов 2000 года.
